CSC 2017 ENG

The first Regional Cyber Security Conference, organized by Vision Event under the patronage of the Ministry of Public Administration of Montenegro, the Ministry of Defence of Montenegro, the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information, and the Embassy of Slovakia, was held on June 2, 2017, at the Splendid Conference & Spa Resort in Bečići.

The Cyber Security Conference project was implemented with the primary goal of providing insight into the establishment, maintenance, and improvement of information security and data protection within companies and institutions — through education and awareness-raising on prevention, detection, defense, and mitigation of cyberattack consequences.

The central theme of the Cyber Security Conference was “Risks and Protective Measures Against Cybercrime, in Line with NATO Principles and Achievements in the Field of Cybersecurity.”

The conference gathered over 120 cybersecurity experts, officials responsible for cybersecurity in ministries and government agencies from Montenegro, Europe, and beyond, as well as directors, institutional representatives, and executives from leading domestic and international companies.
